GIVE TO TEACHING FELLOWS

THE COST TO BREATH

I am a regular patient at my doctor’s. I need epi-pens to keep my airway open due to health issues. The average cost of just one pen is $109 with insurance. Without it, it’s $176.

At CTFF, we have an emergency fund for Teaching Fellows who experience unexpected hardships. By giving to The Care Fund, you’re giving support to college students who need access to basic needs such as food, shelter, and transportation. Your gift today will go toward this Teaching Fellow, and many other Teaching Fellows, who have reached out for help in their time of need. Every dollar counts!

HOW TO SUPPORT NEXT-GENERATION LEADERS

SCHOLARSHIPS

SCHOLARSHIPS

Support future teachers of the Central Valley through our Teaching Fellows Scholarship Program. Scholarship recipients join a cohort of future educators and receive professional development, experiential learning, and funds to aid their higher education journey. Over the last decade, CTFF has provided more than $1M in scholarships benefiting 500 Teaching Fellows in the Central Valley. Hundreds of these scholarship recipients are teachers and leaders in our local schools.

THE DREAM

THE DREAM

The Dream Initiative provides Teaching Fellows, many of whom are first-generation college students, with personal development through one-on-one life coaching, life skills workshops (ex. first time home buying, budgeting and saving, fitness and nutrition), CBEST/CSET preparation and more.

CARE FUND

CARE FUND

The Care Fund is an emergency fund for Teaching Fellows experiencing unexpected hardships such as food insecurity, clothing insecurity, fires, and homelessness. A gift to the care fund helps keep Teaching Fellows on track and pointed towards graduation

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

Annually, Teaching Fellows receive 32 hours of paid professional development and training through specialized workshops in classroom management, mandated reporting, social-emotional learning, STEM, and so much more. Collectively, CTFF contributes nearly 50,000 hours a year of professional development and training to Teaching Fellows who work with youth daily. CTFF partners with local, regional, statewide and national leaders and presenters to deliver high quality and relevant topics and training. This undertaking comes at a cost of approximately $750k annually to our organization, but the benefits are immeasurable. .
