How CTFF is a Teacher Pipeline
CTFF's mission is to inspire the next generation of leaders with a passion for teaching and learning while impacting the lives of youth. Our strategy is to use expanded learning programs as a platform to provide individuals with opportunities to gain experience and explore the teaching profession. We achieve this by hiring college students interested in education and placing them in expanded learning programs, where they gain over 800 hours of paid field experience annually. Fellows receive 40 hours of paid professional development each year, focused on California state teaching standards and after-school best practices. Additionally, CTFF offers education pathway initiatives to support tutors on their journey to becoming educators and help diversify and strengthen the workforce.
